MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, I’m Rachel, the wedding photographer behind Little Birdie Creative, based in Bendigo and shooting across regional Victoria since 2019.
I’m easy to have around on your wedding day, more a mate with a camera than someone you have to perform for. Rain, a nervous bridal party, a bit of chaos before the ceremony, none of it throws me.
The photos matter to me, genuinely. But so does the day underneath them. I don’t want you standing stiffly by a hedge wondering if you’re doing it right when you could be dancing, eating, hugging your nan. Everything about how I work is built around you getting both, a day you got to enjoy, and photographs you’ll love looking back on.
I turn up, settle in, and I’ll be there until you kick me out.

A $500 booking fee and a signed agreement locks in your date. From there we stay in touch as your plans come together, so you’re never left wondering what happens next.

We cannot recommend Rachel more highly. Rachel completely exceeded our expectation for the lead up to and on the day of our wedding. Rachel offered a complimentary engagement shoot prior to our wedding in a gorgeous location in Macedon and this was the best way to get to know each-other, especially as we are a little camera shy. Our son Ollie was 20 months old during this engagement shoot and he absolutely adored running around the trees and lake, giggling with Rachel as she took the most beautiful, candid photos of our family.
In the lead up to the wedding, Rachel was incredibly helpful with the whole process. Rachel helped us to coordinate the timing for our wedding day to fit in all of the photos at different locations for where the bride and bridesmaids got ready, the groom and groomsmen at their accommodation on site at Mt Duneed, our first look and fitting in so many family photos prior to our reception starting so we could be with our guests during the canapes.
We are both a little camera shy, though due to meeting Rachel prior to our wedding, we felt like we had known Rachel for years and were so comfortable as she took the most stunning photos on our special day. We received a sneak peek of our photos just two days after our wedding and we couldn’t believe the magic Rachel created, even when we had to battle a very windy day during our first look and ceremony. Rachel managed to send us so many photos for the sneak peek even when she had a long day at another wedding the day after ours. Rachel – you are truly the most generous person and simply the best photographer we could have chosen for our day.
